Privacy policy
This notice explains what SIGNAL does with personal data when you read the site, subscribe to the free newsletter or write to us. SIGNAL has no user accounts, no payments and no audience analytics.
Controller and contact
Quentin Legros EI, trading as AUTOMATE AI, publishes SIGNAL and is the controller. Sole trader based in Cluny (71250), France. SIRET: 10252637300018. For any request about your data: contact@signaltech.site.
Data, purposes and legal bases
Newsletter: your email address, chosen language, the date and proof of your confirmation and, if applicable, your unsubscription, to send the free newsletter you asked for (legal basis: your consent). Messages to contact@signaltech.site: your address and message, to reply (legitimate interest in answering requests). Reading the site: your IP address and the technical details of each request (page, browser), to deliver the pages and protect the site (legitimate interest in running a secure site). No phone number, account, payment or profiling.
Service providers
Brevo, a French company, hosts the signup form, the subscriber list and sends the newsletter; it stores its databases in the European Union. Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) hosts the website and protects it. Hostinger provides the contact mailbox. They act on SIGNAL’s behalf. Cloudflare being a US company, technical data may be processed outside the European Union, under the safeguards provided in its data processing agreement.
Tracking
The SIGNAL website sets no cookie and uses no advertising, audience analytics or embedded social content. Newsletter emails are sent by Brevo: opens and clicks are counted anonymously, without being linked to your contact, but the opening pixel and link redirection remain in place.
Retention
Unconfirmed signup: the confirmation link expires after 30 days and you are not added to the subscriber list. This does not automatically delete the associated Brevo transactional and form-event logs. Subscription: kept until you unsubscribe, and reviewed no later than 3 years after signup or your last explicit action. After unsubscribing: only your address, the date and the scope of the refusal are kept for at least 3 years, then reviewed for continued necessity, so that you are not added back by mistake. Proof of consent: kept for the duration of the subscription. Contact messages: deleted or anonymised within 12 months after the exchange ends, unless a dispute requires otherwise. Technical logs of the providers: kept for the short periods set by those providers.
Your rights
You can withdraw your consent at any time through the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by writing to contact@signaltech.site, without affecting processing carried out before. You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. We reply within one month; any justified extension is explained within that month. You can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr). SIGNAL makes no automated decision with legal or similar effects.
